25th Spirit Award Winners Announced
Precious dominated the 25th annual Spirit Awards. The film won five awards including Best Feature, Best Director and Best Female Lead. Here is the list of winners:

- Best Female Lead: Gabourey Sidibe Precious
- Best Supporting Male: Woody Harrelson The Messenger
- Best Supporting Female: Mo'Nique Precious
- Best Cinematography: Roger Deakins A Serious Man
- Best Documentary: Anvil!: The Story of Anvil

Independent Spirit Award Winners Announced
The Independent Spirit Awards added another win to Brokeback Mountain's growing list of awards. Now Ang Lee just needs to carry his Brokeback Mountain award success to the Oscars Sunday Night. The gay cowboy film won best feature and best director. The awards were held in Santa Monica. The annual awards are given out to independent films each year by Film Independent.List of Winners
