Hurt Locker Wins Most Oscars, Including Best Picture

The Hurt Locker dominated the Oscars last night. The film took home six awards, including Best Picture and Best Director. Avatar won three awards but was beaten by the Hurt Locker in the main categories. Precious, Up and Crazy heart won two awards each. Here is a list of this year's winners. 2009 Oscar Winners

The Oscars winners were pretty predictable Sunday night but the way the main acting awards were presented was both novel and an improvement. It was interesting hearing what each actor or actress had to say about each nominees. Slumdog Millionaire was the favorite heading into the awards they ended up winning eight Oscars including Best Picture. Here's a list of the winners:

The Oscars Winners 2008

The Oscars winners are in. It was a smooth night without many surprises. Four awards went to No Country For Old Men including Best Picture. Marion Cotillard was surprise winner in the Best Actress category. Daniel Day-Lewis, Javier Bardem and Tilda Swinton were also winners of acting awards. Here's a list of this year's winners.
