Golden Globe Winners Announced
This year's Golden Globe award winners have been announced. It wasn't nearly as exciting as previous because of the ongoing writers strike. No film dominated. Atonement won two awards including Best Picture and Original Score. Best Actress, Drama went to Julie Christie for Away From Her and Best Actor, Drama was awarded to Daniel Day-Lewis, the star of There Will Be Blood. Julian Schnabel won Best Director for the film The Diving Bell and the Butterfly.The television awards were dominated by cable. HBO won several of the tv awards for their shows including Extras, Longford and Entourage. Tina Fey won the only broadcast tv award of the night. She won Best Actress, Comedy for 30 Rock.
