The winners of the 39th Annual CMA Awards were announced in a live broadcast on CBS. Keith Urban was named Entertainer of the Year and also won his his second consecutive CMA Male Vocalist award. Lee Ann Womack won three CMA Awards for Album, Single and Musical Event of the Year. Womack said, "If you listen to music that doesn't touch you or mean anything to you, listen to Country Music. We have songs that speak to you and songs that will touch you."
